A Day At Shrimath

“Yoga is not a work-out it is a work-in, and this is the point of spiritual practice to make us teachable to open up our hearts and focus our awareness so that we can know what we already know and be who we already are.”
From Sunrise to Sunset, the day at Shrimath goes on like clockwork with ample scope for participants to listen, practice, participate, interact, stay silent, do service and dive within themselves.
The sessions of Yoga Philosophy & inputs from Veda, as well as Tantra, introduce the comprehensive yet practical nature of the Yogic way of life. This eventually enables success in all undertakings as stress management and work-life balance would happen naturally.

Working with rural kids, assisting at the farm & kitchen as well as participating in the upkeep of the facility helps everyone to understand the ancient dictum, ‘vasudaiva kutumbakam’ i.e. World is one Family, where each one focuses on what can be done to make the system better than why should I do!
The daily agenda is tweaked to take the climate and season into consideration. Every day the participants have separate slots to do self-practice so that they can resolve their doubts with the Shrimath team.
